Directions from Courtenay

Proceed north on the Island Highway (route 19A) to Hardy Road. Hardy Road is about a mile past the Courtenay Country Market.
- Turn right on Hardy Road and follow it to the stop sign at Coleman Road.
- Turn right on Coleman to the next stop sign at the intersection of Bate’s Road.
- Turn right on Bate’s Road and proceed about a quarter mile to Avonlee.
- Turn left on Avonlee and follow the road straight ahead and then down the hill.

At the bottom of the hill the road makes a sharp turn to the left and you’ll go past the Bate’s Beach Resort. Belle Vue is the large white house at the end of the public road.

From Comox

Take Anderton Road north.
- Be sure to veer left on Anderton where it intersects with Ellenor the road to the Powell River ferry. Anderton will become Waveland shortly after the intersection.
- Turn left on to Bate’s Road and follow it through Seal Bay Park to Avonlee. Avonlee is about a half-mile past Seal Bay Park.
- At Avonlee turn right and proceed ahead and then down the hill making a sharp left turn at the bottom as you pass Bate’s Beach Resort.You’ll find Belle Vue located straight ahead down the street, about a normal city block.

From the Comox Ferry

Take Ellenor Road up the hill to the intersection of Anderton Road.
Turn right on to Anderton Road north.
Anderton will become Waveland shortly after the intersection.
Turn left on to Bate’s Road and follow it through Seal Bay Park to Avonlee. Avonlee is about a half-mile past Seal Bay Park.
At Avonlee turn right and proceed ahead and then down the hill making a sharp left turn at the bottom as you pass both Bate’s Beach Resort.
You’ll find Belle Vue located straight ahead down the street, about a normal city block.

Most local residents are familiar with Bate’s Beach and can direct you if necessary. There is good signage for Bate’s Beach resort along the way as a guide.
